Shining Beyond the Socials?

Hannah Darnell, RN  /  June 9, 2026

Freelance Writing

This month marks the first year that Freetolancet, LLC DBA Writefully Yours LLC filed for business licensure. It has flown by and I have learned so much from others in the writing and media industries.

This summer, I am going to take a couple lines here to thank God, family and the close friends and new ones He places in my path. Every time I thought He was closing the door, someone was there to leave it cracked open.

If you need help giving your brand an extra boost, leave the writing part to me. I value your time and humbly accept revision requests knowing no one understands your dreams and vision better than you! This is how freelance writing services should operate.

A Few Things I Wish I Learned in the Beginning of Writefully Yours LLC

If there was a time machine, I’d go way back and change a few things. Instead, I’m going to spill the tea with you and hope you learn something I didn’t, especially as a millenial.

No matter what anyone says, stay true to your audience, even if you haven’t connected with them yet. Covering up your business with a facade as if it was a large corporation isn’t the most transparent. I was told by a business coach it would appear more professional and well established that way.

I have since rewritten all my site content to reflect what I should have written all along—the truth.

The best policy you can provide your clientele is always honesty. Especially when AI is on the rampage, like the latest upgraded version of the internet.

Don’t be afraid to hide your errors or edits, omit old posts or links from socials. There’s your history book, a timeline you reflect on your professional growth, stumbles and achievements.

Focus on the writing, you’re not a graphic designer; pictures are pretty, but to write my firend, is out of sight! Time wasted on image cropping, website platform management, app site boosters and ads, glamming up your pages, perfecting appearances really tapped out my energy this past year.

A helpful coach told me not to switch so many website companies, that I needed to stick with at least one for a year to satisfy all the creepy crawlers indexing my site pages from Google and the rest. I had no idea changing web hosts would actually do more harm than good for my website.

Anyway, update me on your business happenings! Take care.

~Until we pen again,
